A Warm Welcome at Discover Your Community Day

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of participating in Broadstairs Town Shed's 'Discover Your Community Day' on Sunday 14th July. It was an amazing experience where we got to meet numerous community organizations offering fantastic services across Thanet. This event was a splendid opportunity to learn more about our community, and we were thrilled to be part of it.

Games, Laughter, and Connections

One of the highlights of the day was the assortment of games we brought to the event. Attendees were excited to dive into some retro fun with games like Mario Kart, Rayman, and Donkey Kong Country. The joy and laughter heightened as participants, young and old, joined in for friendly competitions. The gaming corner served as an excellent icebreaker, helping everyone to connect and interact effortlessly.

Amazing Organizations Making a Difference

Beyond the gaming activities, we cherished the opportunity to meet and collaborate with a variety of community organizations. Each one of them is doing tremendous work to uplift and empower the people of Thanet. From support groups to activity centres, the dedication and passion of these organizations were genuinely inspiring. We were pleased to see such a strong sense of community spirit and mutual support.
